Let's Get Acquainted
As I tried to learn more about my faith, I asked myself, what if what I have been raised to believe is incorrect? Did I choose to be in this faith? And it hit me, no I did not. I was simply born and taught to follow my faith.
I then asked what is the most certain thing in life which will occur? It is not a stable job, marriage success, nor happiness, as all these things depend on life, luck, people around you, education, finances etc. This brought me to the realisation that death is the only certainty in everybody's life.
The next question followed, is there a God? I was and still am certain that there is a God, simply by the perfection of the human being and all living things, the order of the universe, and the simple fact that 'something cannot come from nothing'. Naturally this made me believe there must be life after death, and I wanted to know The Creator, and what He wants from me.
The only way I can know what The Creator wants from me is to read his instructions, his books.
But there are so many religious instruction manuals out there, how do I know which one is correct?
The 6 principles to check if a book is the word of God;
1) There must be only ONE version of the book, as God only revealed ONE book at the time.
2) There must be no contradictions in the book - God's book in other words should be perfect.
3) It must have no failed prophecies - God's prophecies must come to pass.
4) The science in the book must match science of today or at least not be disproved by science.
5) It must have good morals and be consistent throughout.
6) It may contain linguistic perfection and have no personal emotion in its literature suggesting it was written by a person.
With these 6 simple rules, I studied religions and decided to make this website so that those searching for the truth, about the bigger picture, can do so with ease.
