Introduction and Context
In the Name of God. The Most Kind, The Most Merciful
The majority of us are born into our religion. Being born into a religion does not make it the right faith. It does certainly make it harder to disbelieve what you have been taught since childhood, but it is these shackles of fear of being wrong all your life, fear of friends and family being disappointed by your choices, fear of being out of your comfort zone, fear of opening a box which will cause doubt. We need to fight our egos and really search for the truth, because it is impossible for all religions to be correct (although they may agree on many topics). Death is the one thing we are all guaranteed, no matter what, death is the only thing you can guarantee in your life. Therefore, it is your duty to search for the truth and prepare for what lies after death.
Before we start please note everything mention is backed with evidence from the bible or experts in theology. All verses are included for ease of the reader.

IS THE BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD?
In any case, we need to examine the issue to hand, so the best way to examine Christianity is to look at the source, the bible. There is no point talking to a priest who tells you something about Christianity, if the Bible says something which contradicts what the priest stated, then the priest is wrong, the bible supersedes anything a scholar or priest states. God has given you the ability to learn, therefore read for yourself rather than having blind faith in a scholar or priest, at the end of the day, he is only human and may be wrong. Of course, after reading then you may discuss with a priest of scholar.
The 6 principles to check if a book is the word of God;
1) There must be only ONE version of the book, as God only revealed ONE book at the time.
2) There must be no contradictions in the book - God's book in other words should be perfect.
3) It must have no failed prophecies - God's prophecies must come to pass.
4) The science in the book must match science of today or at least not be disproved by science.
5) It must have good morals and be consistent throughout.
6) It may contain linguistic perfection and have no personal emotion in its literature suggesting it was written by a person.
